HIN Aims For Hotel Visit Levels To Increase By 8 Percent On Eid Holidays 2024

JAKARTA - InJourney Hospitality or PT Hotel Indonesia Natour (HIN) is targeting an increase in hotel visits or hotel occupancy rates to reach 8 percent during the Eid al-Fitr or Eid Al-Fitr 2024 holiday.

Director of Operations and Business Portfolio InJourney Hospitality Ariadevi Hermaini said the peak of the Eid al-Fitr holiday season will be used to boost occupancy as high as possible.

"InJourney Hospitality occupancy rate is estimated to reach 61.2 percent, an increase of 8 percent compared to 2023," he said at a press conference at the InJourney office, Jakarta, written Thursday, March 28.

Furthermore, Ariadevi said that InJourney Hospitality itself predicts that the peak season for hotels and accommodation during the Lebaran 2024 holiday will occur on April 10 and 11, 2024.

"So we will take the momentum of Eid al-Fitr and this Eid period to get the highest occupancy," he continued.

Ariadevi said that when referring to last year, the hotel occupancy rate was supported from the areas of Bali and Java. This year, 4,500 rooms are prepared to face the Eid Al-Fitr holiday from 40 hotels under InJourney Hospitality.

"Of the total 4.500 rooms we have, we make sure all of them are available rooms or all sale. So we can take advantage of this momentum to sell all rooms to the guest," he explained.

To welcome the Eid 2024 holiday season, he said, HIN held various programs such as holiday stay packages, Halal Bi Halal bubble, Eid delivery, seamless Eid al-Fitr promotion, Online Travel Agent Campaign THR Pol-polan Phase II, Online Travel Agent Package & Campaign.

"We at InJourney Hospitality are making some readiness in terms of human resources, in terms of operations and also improvement because with which (guests) will enter, I also have to make sure fortunate for staying overnight," he said.
