TASPEN Distributes Thousands Of Basic Foods Through Cheap Market Activities And MSME Bazars

PT Dana Tabungan dan Asuransi Pegawai Negeri (Persero) atau TASPEN berkomitmen untuk terus meningkatkan kepedulian kepada masyarakat melalui kegiatan Safari Ramadan BUMN pada Rabu 27, di Pageang Kantor PT TASPEN (Persero), Jakarta.

This activity provides a low-cost market, which contains rice, cooking oil, and sugar and is enlivened by the presence of the BAzar MSME assisted by TASPEN in the form of food, drinks, and other processing to break the fast. Through this activity, it is hoped that it can ease the community in meeting basic needs and other supporting needs during the month of Ramadan, as well as become an active manifestation of the company in getting closer to the community.

TASPEN Corporate Secretary Yoka Krisma Wijaya said this event was the result of a collaboration between TASPEN and a mandate from the Ministry of SOEs to contribute to providing cheap basic necessities for the community.

"TASPEN provides thousands of food packages in the hope of easing the burden on our brothers and sisters. TASPEN will continue to contribute directly to the community through various corporate actions that are close to people's daily lives," he said in a written statement, Thursday, March 29.

This activity, which is part of a series of TASPEN's 61st Anniversary activities, provides 1000 cheap food packages. The packages consist of 5 kg of rice, 1 liter of cooking oil, and 1 kg of sugar. Meanwhile, in the MSME bazaar, there are a total of 15 food and drinks typical of Ramadan along with other products processed by MSMEs assisted by TASPEN. There are also several superior MSME products, such as Pempek Syahra, Siomay Abah Uki, Burger Dower, Roti Golovers, and several contemporary drinks.

In addition to providing 1000 cheap food packages, TASPEN will also distribute a total of 2,363 free food packages to TASPEN Active participants spread across 12 Agencies/Institutions/Ministry, such as the State Civil Service Agency, the Supreme Audit Agency, the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency, the Indonesian Attorney General's Office, the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (KemenPAN-RB), the Supreme Court, the Constitutional Court, and the Ministry of State Secretary.

The free food packages consist of 5 kg of rice, 1 liter of cooking oil, 1 kg of sugar, 3-4 packs of instant noodles, and 1 box of teabags. Furthermore, as many as 500 packages of free basic necessities will also be distributed through several TASPEN Branch Offices spread across Indonesia, namely Depok, Bogor, Cirebon, Semarang, and Jember.

The TASPEN Cheap Basic Food Bazaar and the distribution of free basic food packages are a momentum for TASPEN to give great appreciation to the community for all their support and trust for 61 years to TASPEN. In addition, this activity is also an active manifestation of TASPEN in responding to the el nino disaster which indirectly has an impact on rising food prices in Indonesia.

In the future, TASPEN will continue to be committed to sticking to Serving, not only for State Civil Apparatus (ASN) and retired ASN, but also for the wider community, especially through a variety of innovative and development-appropriate benefits programs, as well as presenting a Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program that is close to the community.
