Mochizuki's Satoru Is Still Looking For The Best Talenta Of The U-17 Indonesian Women's National Team For The U-17 Asian Cup
JAKARTA - The U-17 Indonesian Women's National Team coach, Satoru Mochizuki, admitted that he still could not determine which players would enter the squad for the 2024 U-17 Women's Asian Cup.
This was revealed after leading the team's inaugural training at Field A, Gelora Bung Karno Complex (GBK), Jakarta, on Wednesday 27 March 2024, WIB night. The first exercise includes a selection program.
Satoru revealed the difficulties he felt because they were the first training agenda. Not many talents seem to stand out.
"In this exercise, I still have quite difficulty choosing players because this is the first time a women's team has been collected," said Satoru after leading the exercise.

"The first selection is also the basis for his ability not to be discovered. They are also playing for the first time, first meeting, so it is still difficult to choose," he said.
From this first phase of selection, there will be around 10-15 players taken. Those selected will return to the second stage of selection.
"Regarding players, it has not been determined. However, in this first selection there are 35 people. Later there will be 10-15 people in the first selection. There are two stages of selection," he said.
The training and selection agenda was carried out by the Indonesian U-17 Women's National Team in preparation for appearing at the 2024 U-17 Asian Cup which will take place in Bali, May 6-19, 2024.
At the event, the host Indonesia was in Group A with North Korea, South Korea, and the Philippines.
