Judge Sentences 2 Defendants Of Cattle Corruption In Jeneponto 4 Years In Prison
The Makassar Corruption Court (Tipikor) panel of judges, South Sulawesi, sentenced two defendants to corruption in the procurement of cattle seeds in Jeneponto Regency, each for four years in prison.
Based on the trial for reading the verdict, two defendants were proven to have committed corruption in the assistance for the procurement of cattle seeds amounting to Rp1.2 billion through the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Jeneponto Regency for the 2022 Fiscal Year.
"The two defendants who were sentenced in the trial at the Makassar Corruption Court were the Director of CV of Thirteen Kreasindo Multi Alim Malkab and Syam Jaya as PPTK BPBD Jeneponto Regency," said Public Prosecutor (JPU) from the Kejari Jeneponto Ilma Ardi Riyadi accompanied by other prosecutors, namely Fathir Bakkarang and Faisal.
Against Multi Alim Malkab, the panel of judges sentenced him to four years in prison, a replacement money of Rp28 million, a subsidiary of one month and a fine of Rp200 million, provided that if the fine is not paid, it will be replaced with imprisonment for four months.
