Police Arrest Dealers Of Thousands Of Hard Drugs In Sukabumi

The Sukabumi City Police Narcotics Investigation Unit (Satnarkoba) arrested YJ (25), a dealer of limited hard drugs (OKT) types of HCI and Hexymer at a boarding house on Cipelangleutik Street, Sukabumi City, West Java.

"We arrested the suspect on Saturday (23/3) at around 22.30 WIB. From YJ's hands the police confiscated evidence in the form of 7,710 OKT items of the 50MG HCI tramadol brand and 240 Hexymer pills," said Sukabumi City Police Narcotics Head AKP Yudi Wahyudi quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, March 27.

According to Yudi, the suspect had long been the target of his hunt and thanks to information from YJ residents he was arrested at a boarding house in the Cikole District area.

The illegal drug without a permit is said to have been obtained from someone with the initials DHA to be circulated again in the City and District of Sukabumi.

The mode used by the suspect in distributing the illicit goods, he said, was by meeting directly with the buyer or by pasting it through certain directions.

"We are still developing this case and are hunting for the OKT supplier to the suspect, for the purpose of investigating YJ being detained in the Sukabumi City Police Headquarters detention cell," he added.

The suspect was charged with Article 435 in conjunction with Article 138 paragraph (2), paragraph (3) Subsidiary to Article 436 in conjunction with Article 145 paragraph (1) of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 17 of 2023 concerning health with the threat of imprisonment for a maximum of 12 years.
