Looking For Biological Parents, Inafis Deployed To The TKP For The Discovery Of Babies In Bogor

JAKARTA - The police are holding a crime scene (TKP) for the discovery of a baby in Pasir Muncang Village, Bogor Regency, West Java (West Java).

The crime scene investigation involving the Bogor Police's Indonesian Automatic Fingerprint Identification System (Inafis) team was carried out to find out the parents of the baby found in cardboard boxes.

"We are still investigating this case to find the baby's biological parents to be responsible and provide information," said Caringin Police Chief AKP Ketut Laswarjana in Cibinong, Bogor, Wednesday, March 27, quoted by Antara.

He explained that the report regarding the discovery of a baby boy was received by the Caringin Police on Tuesday, March 26, at around 09.30 WIB from the community.

Then, members of the Sector Police immediately went to the location where the baby was found on Cipokol Street side by side with the garbage disposal site.

"It was found by Akmal's brother, the baby was found in a cardboard box which was deliberately stored by someone who used a motorcycle at 02.00 WIB in the morning," he said.

Ketut said that Akmal was suspicious of the person who put the cardboard near the garbage dump, because he immediately fled after putting the cardboard box.

Then, he said, Akmal immediately took the baby to his house and brought it back to the midwife in Lemah Duhur Village at around 05.00 WIB, to check the baby's body condition.

"But unfortunately the baby died, then Akmal's brother and Yanti's mother returned home to wash the baby and was buried at 07.00 WIB and reported it to the Caringin Police," said Ketut.
