Waskita Beton Aims To Get Involved In Working On The Latest PSN

JAKARTA - PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk is aiming to be involved in working on the latest National Strategic Project (PSN) from the government.

"Other PSNs are clearly our target. We are together with the parent (Waskita Karya) to target other national strategic projects," said Waskita Beton (WSBP) Director of Business Development Bambang Dwi Wijayanto, in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, March 27.

The government has just set 14 new National Strategic Projects (PSN) to equalize development in the infrastructure, tourism, education, and health sectors.

Among these projects, among others in the Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) and Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD) areas.

In addition to the government's new PSN target, WSBP is also targeting involvement in other government projects, such as the development of the capital city of Nusantara (IKN) of East Kalimantan.

According to Bambang, the involvement in the IKN project is very prospective, because the government is very serious about working on the construction of the new capital city.

Moreover, he said, of the total estimated investment needs in IKN of around Rp. 400 trillion, there are still many investment needs that have not been realized so that new contract opportunities are wide open.

"From the government itself, the Rp400 trillion (investment needs) that has been disbursed there is still approximately Rp40 trillion to Rp100 trillion, there are still a lot of them," he said.

WSBP this year targets the New Contract Value (NKB) of IDR 2.3 trillion-IDR 2.5 trillion. As of March 25, 2024, WSBP has recorded a new contract value of around IDR 1 trillion.

The value of the new contract as of March 25, 2024, is dominated by contracts from BUMN, government and private (external) customers of 97 percent.

Several external contracts obtained by WSBP include Construction of Container Yard (CY) and Infrastructure Supporting the Batu Ampar Container Terminal (construction service segment, worth Rp360 billion.

Then, the construction of the Enim 1-Jembatan Enim 2 bridge retaining wall worth IDR 72 billion, and the Serang-Panimbang Section III Toll Road construction project worth IDR 59 billion.

WSBP targets the average annual growth of NKB and Operating Revenue of 15 percent-20 percent by 2028.
