Investigate The Case Of Alleged Connie Defaming The Good Name Of The Chairman Of TKN Prabowo-Gibran, Bareskrim Checks Experts

The investigation into the alleged defamation case, slander and fake news reported by the Head of the National Campaign Team (TKN) Rosan Perkasa Roeslani with reported Connie Rahakundini Bakrie continues. Most recently, the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police has examined several experts.

"The examination of witnesses is still being carried out as well as several expert witnesses who have been asked for information," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, to reporters, Tuesday, March 26.

But it was not conveyed in detail about the number and field of experts who had been questioned in handling the case.

It is only conveyed if the National Police, especially Bareskrim, will be professional and follow the rules that apply in the investigation process.

"It is certain that investigators are doing it proportionally and procedurally in handling this case," said Trunoyudo.

Previously, investigators had examined Rosan Perkasa Roeslani as reported on Thursday, February 29.

The alleged defamation case was discovered when Connie said that Rosan mentioned that there was a scenario during Prabowo Subianto's leadership, which was only 2 years if he was elected President of Indonesia in the 2024 General Election (Pemilu) contestation.

Connie made this statement on the YouTube channel 'The Nation's Children's Canal'.

Not accepting, Rosan Perkasa Roeslani finally reported Connie Rahakundini Bakrie to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police Monday, February 12. The report was registered with the number LP/B/52/II/2024/SPKT/BARESKRIM POLRI.

In this report, Connie is suspected of committing a criminal act of defamation, slander and misleading fake news as referred to in Article 45 paragraph (4) in conjunction with Article 27A UURI Number 1 of 2024 the second amendment to UURI number 11 of 2008 concerning ITE and/or Article 310 of the Criminal Code, Article 311 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 14 and Article 15 UURI Number 1 of 1946.
