East Kalimantan Provincial Government Nets 7,800 Honorary Employees Participate In ASN Selection
SAMARINDA - The Provincial Government of East Kalimantan (Kaltim) has confirmed the selection of around 7,800 honorary or non-state civil servants (non-ASN) within the provincial government to participate in the ASN selection as government employees with a work agreement (PPPK).Head of the East Kalimantan Regional Civil Service Agency (BKD) Deni Sutrisno said this selection was carried out to ensure the number and ability of non-ASN personnel within the East Kalimantan Provincial Government. Their participation in the selection is an absolute requirement to be accommodated in data collection."The number of non-ASN around 7,800 can be accommodated in the completion of non-ASN personnel until the end," he said in Samarinda, quoted from Antara, Sunday, March 24.Non-ASN personnel who are netted to be upgraded to ASN must of course follow the selection that functions to measure the capabilities concerned.Furthermore, Deni explained, his party is still waiting for technical instructions (Juknis) from the Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (KemenPAN-RB) regarding the selection.Deni added that further information regarding the selection of non-ASN personnel in East Kalimantan would be submitted at the next opportunity.Overall, his party recruited 9,456 state civil servants (ASN) in 2024."Of the total 9,456 ASN that will be recruited, 261 formations are intended for prospective Civil Servants (CPNS) and the remaining 9,195 are for government employees with work agreements (PPPK)," said Deni.Deni explained that the focus of this year's PPPK recruitment is on basic services, such as education, health, specialist doctors, and technical personnel."The ASN recruitment process in East Kalimantan is scheduled to start around April or May 2024," he added.
Deni emphasized that the selection will still be carried out by taking into account the qualifications and competencies of applicants.
