Tangcity Mall Building Manager Rawanto said construction took more than a year. The area of the mosque is 1,200 square meters with a capacity of 1,000 pilgrims.

"From the start, this mosque was funded from donations from directors, employees, tenants, CSR and the community around the Tangcity Superblock area, the construction costs reached Rp 2.5 billion," said Rawanto in his statement, Sunday, March 24.

Rawanto said that this mosque could be used for worship activities. Like routinely every day holding tarawih prayer, breaking the fast together, to the tadarusan of employees, tenant employees to mall visitors.

"The location is deliberately on the top floor, P4, so it can reach visitors or employees," he said.

This mosque has a design style of adapting Morocco's architecture. The colors taken by the light colors and repetition of the line shape to the circle are the main details.

Acting Mayor of Tangerang Nurdin hopes that the development carried out by Tangcity Mall can inspire other business actors.
