Quality Vocational Is The Answer To Various Challenges And Employment Problems

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) presents quality vocational training as a form of commitment to increasing competence and competitiveness of the Indonesian workforce, both old and new so that it gets better

Secretary General of the Ministry of Manpower Anwar Sanusi when opening the Competency-Based Training (PBK) Phase III of the Semarang Vocational and Productivity Training Center (BPVP) said quality vocational training was vocational training in accordance with work market needs that prioritized employment links and match.

"This is one of the responses in responding to various challenges and employment problems," he said.

The link and match, said Anwar, is part of the ministry's strategy in transforming the Job Training Center, where existing and managed centers of the Ministry of Manpower must be able to collaborate with the business world and industry, so that vocational training can occur.

"So we want to encourage this labor affair is a matter that we must jointly bear," he said.

PBK phase III BBPVP Semarang consists of eight packages, namely five vocational Business Management training packages, two vocational Fashion Technology training packages, and one building engineering vocational training package.

On this occasion, there was also the signing of a memorandum of understanding between BBPVP Semarang and the business world and the industrial world, stakeholders in terms of utilizing training infrastructure at BBPVP Semarang, as well as the placement of work as many as eight institutions.
