WIKA Continues The East National Asymptomatic Road Project At IKN Worth IDR 586.20 Billion

JAKARTA - PT Wijaya Karya Tbk (WIKA) is still working on the construction of Phase 2 of the East Side National Asymptomatic Road located in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN), North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan.

This project will be carried out in a consortium scheme by WIKA-BIT KSO, with a portion of 70 percent of WIKA worth IDR 586.20 billion.

WIKA President Director Agung Budi Waskito said his party was trusted to continue finishing or finishing which included asphalting work on roads and landscapes equipped with special areas for pedestrians and cyclists.

"This shows the trust of the Ministry of PUPR in WIKA which is able to produce projects consistently in accordance with the quality standards that have been set in the context of IKN infrastructure development," Agung said as quoted from the official website of WIKA, Saturday, March 23.

The Phase 2 of the East Side Nationalism Road Project is a follow-up package from phase I which is also being carried out by WIKA.

The scope of the phase 1 project includes the construction of road and bridge structures as well as Multi-Utility Tunnel (MUT), namely tunnels that will accommodate all water pipeline networks to fiber optics and electric cables at IKN.

Agung said, in accordance with the green city concept, the Phase 2 Phase 2 National Advertisement Road project will also be reforestation, including plant maintenance.

"The water supply will be filtered first by box control and flowed through the MUT to the ground water tank, so that the clean water from the sediment deposit can be used for plant watering," he said.

The construction of this project is also supported by 5D Level Building Information Modeling (BIM) digital technology.

"This will facilitate project implementation and avoid potential rework through better visualization," he added.

For your information, Jalan Sumbu Kebangsaan Sisi Timur is one of the main accesses built to support IKN connectivity. This 3.27 kilometer (km) road will be a connecting access to the Central Government Core Area (KIPP) of the Capital City of Nusantara.
