HGBT Continues To Bedogged, Ministry Of Finance Reminds State Budget Health
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Finance focuses the health of the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) in continuing the policy of Certain Natural Gas Prices (HGBT) by providing cheap gas prices to the Industry, which is US$6 per MMBTU after 2024, currently the extension of the incentives is still being handled.
Finance Minister Sri Mulyani said, HGBT is evaluated every year or at any time taking into account economic conditions, this is in accordance with the mandate of Presidential Certificate No.121/2020.
"The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources evaluates the determination of HGBT every year or at any time, together with a coordination team consisting of representatives from the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy, Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Industry taking into account economic conditions," Sri Mulyani said, quoted from her Personal Instagram account, Friday, March 23.
Sri Mulyani continued, the goal of HGBT which has been implemented since 2020 is to increase competitiveness, in the evaluation of the Ministry of Finance's HGBT, to provide considerations in terms of adjusting state revenues by maintaining the health of the state budget.
"@kemenkeuri is tasked with giving considerations in terms of adjusting state revenues because the HGBT Indonesia policy is designed not only to be able to increase corporate competitiveness and strengthen the economy, but also to maintain health from fiscal/APBN itself," he continued.
