BSI Facilitates Access To Pertamina's Distributor Distributors

JAKARTA - PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BSI) collaborates with PT Pertamina Lubricants to provide convenience for 130 lubricant distributors throughout Indonesia to obtain working capital facilities in accordance with sharia principles.

The synergy between BSI and its Pertamina Patra Niaga subsidiary, which is engaged in the production and sale of lubricants, is also carried out as part of business development.

Director of Retail BSI Ngatari through a written statement in Jakarta, Friday, March 22, said that this collaboration will further encourage the role of BSI to enter the strategic business ecosystem, one of which is the oil industry.

"We are optimistic that the financing system in Islamic banks is able to support the acceleration of business growth ranging from core business to the surrounding business ecosystem," said Ngatari, quoted from Antara.

Previously, BSI and Pertamina Group had also collaborated in the form of corporate financing, financing Pertamina partners, including LPG agents, gas stations/SPBE entrepreneurs to providers of construction services and access to financial services by host to gas station partners in the Sumatra region.

Ngatari said that the financing performance in BSI grew positively and solidly. This is a good opportunity for the growth of strategic business fields, especially in terms of BSI readiness to provide easy access to capital.

For cooperation with PT Pertamina Lubricants, BSI in the early stages prepared upstream to downstream services both in terms of cash management, SME segments, corporations and transaction banking.

As of December 2023, BSI has disbursed financing of IDR 240.32 trillion, growing 15.70 percent on an annual basis (yoy), with wholesale financing taking a portion of 28.09 percent of the total financing.
