Wins Presidential Election, Prabowo Is Advised By Jokowi

Presidential Candidate Prabowo Subianto revealed that President Joko Widodo had warned about people asking to meet Prabowo, especially after the KPU appointed Prabowo-Gibran as the winner in the 2024 presidential election.

Prabowo, when breaking the fast with PAN cadres at the PAN DPP office, Jakarta, admitted that every day there were people who asked to meet him.

"Pak Jokowi said, yes, Mas Bowo, yes, that's it, Mas Bowo will be ready," Prabowo said, repeating Jokowi's advice to him as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, March 21.

According to him, there is a time of 7 months for the transition period until the elected candidate pair is inaugurated as President and Vice President for the 2024 '2029 period.

"In the transition period for 7 months, every day someone asks to meet," said Prabowo.

On the same occasion, he also joked that there were also friends and colleagues who had not seen each other for a long time, then finally appeared and asked to meet.

"Those who never hit, conceded a lot, brought another list of deposits," said Prabowo.

Apart from that, he believes that true friends are those who continue to struggle in difficult times.

Prabowo, when breaking the fast with PAN cadres, said that PAN was a true friend because it consistently supported Prabowo in three consecutive presidential election contestations, namely the 2014 presidential election, the 2019 presidential election, and the 2024 presidential election.

"I am here. I see the faces of my friends who have struggled for a long time, who have always put their trust on my shoulders, who have always been loyal," he said.

"I feel enough that it means defeat, but as a warrior, as a political fighter, I understand and understand that the struggle to achieve noble ideals is not easy," continued Prabowo.

Prabowo, who is also the General Chair of the Gerindra Party, admitted that he was comfortable with PAN. He called PAN a true friend.

"Pawan itu ada banyak jenisnya, sampai dalam bahasa Inggris itu disaida friend in need is a friend intended. Kawan sejati adalah teman pada saat sulitnya. Kalau pada saat baik dan senang, teman banyak sekali," kata Prabowo.

The KPU appointed Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka as the elected candidate pair in the 2024 presidential election.

Prabowo-Gibran won 96,214,691 votes, the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar pair received 40,971,906 votes, and the Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD pair received 27,040,878 votes. The total valid ballots were 164,227,475 votes.

The elected candidate pair, Prabowo-Gibran, is scheduled to be sworn in as President and Vice President for the 2024 '2029 period on October 20, 2024.
