Blessings Spread Ramadan 1445 H, Bank Mandiri Compensates 100 Orphans And Duafa In Central Jakarta

JAKARTA - PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) again shared goodness in the holy month of Ramadan with the surrounding community. This time, Bank Mandiri Regional IV/Jakarta 2 gave Ramadan gifts to approximately 100 orphans and two people, in the Central Jakarta area as a form of empathy and moments to forge employee social sensitivity in Ramadan 1445 H.

In this social action, every orphan and duafa received compensation and gifts from Ramadan which were handed over by the President Commissioner of Bank Mandiri M. Chatib Basri, Deputy President Director Alexandra Askandar and Director of Institutional Relations Rohan Hafas.

According to Rohan Hafas, this compensation will involve employees in the regional and regional offices, as well as the Islamic Spiritual Development Agency (Bapekis) Bank Mandiri.

"This distribution is part of the Ramadan Bank Mandiri compensation program which is carried out in stages by all Mandian elements throughout Indonesia so that this compensation can remain targeted and beneficial. This program is an activity that we have carried out every year as the company's consistency in sharing with others in a month full of blessings," Rohan said, quoted on Thursday, March 21.

Regional CEO of Bank Mandiri Region IV/Jakarta 2, Jan Winston Tambunan added that this activity also involved the Mandiri Amal Insani (MAI) Foundation and Bank Mandiri Subsidiary Company. The distribution of Ramadan parcels has been carried out in stages since the first week of Ramadan until before Eid Al-Fitr 1445 H, namely on March 17, 2024, to 100 scavengers around Juanda Station and Jayakarta Station, Central Jakarta.

"The holy month of Ramadan has always been the right momentum for Muslims, especially us at Bank Mandiri, to hone their sensitivity and increase their social awareness for those around us. Hopefully, Mandian can take lessons from this social activity and apply it in daily life," explained Jan Winston Tambunan.

Furthermore, Bank Mandiri Region IV/Jakarta 2 will continue this social action with 550 parcels of Ramadan until March 26, 2024, to cleaners, scavengers, and motorcycle taxi bases around Gondangdia Station and Cikini Station, Central Jakarta.
