KPU Sets Winner Of The 2024 Presidential Election, Gibran Still Headquartered In Solo
Surakarta Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka remains in office after the Indonesian General Elections Commission (KPU) appointed presidents and vice presidents, who recorded the results that he has the potential to be vice president.
Monitoring at the Surakarta City Hall, Central Java, Thursday, Gibran arrived at the Surakarta City Hall at 10.45 WIB. On that occasion, Gibran immediately went up to the 2nd floor to the meeting room of the Tawangarum Center to meet with guests who are a group of Commission X DPR RI.
However, he had time to give a statement about the determination. "Yes, thank you. While walking, wait for it above," said Gibran as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, March 21.
He said that so far he had communicated with his partner Prabowo Subianto. In fact, in the near future the two will have a meeting.
"It will be scheduled later," he said.
However, he has not said when the two will meet. Gibran only confirmed that he would still complete a number of jobs in Solo.
"Yes, I will finish work in Solo first," he said.
Previously, on Wednesday, the Indonesian KPU appointed the candidate pair for President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka as President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia for the period 2024-2029.

The determination is contained in KPU Decree Number 360 of 2024 concerning the Determination of the results of the General Election of the President and Vice President, Members of the House of Representatives, Regional Representative Council, Provincial Regional House of Representatives, and National Regional House of Representatives/City in the General Election in 2024.
Chairman of the Indonesian KPU Hasyim Asy'ari revealed that the Prabowo-Gibran pair won 96,214,691 votes. Meanwhile, he continued, the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar pair received 40,971,906 votes, while the pair Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md 27,040,878 received votes.
