Anies-Muhaimin Legal Team Calls Evidence And Witnesses Sue Election Dispute Can Convince Constitutional Court Judges
JAKARTA - The National Legal Team (THN) of the Anies-Muhaimin (Timnas AMIN) National Team is submitting a request for a lawsuit on the results of the 2024 presidential election to the Constitutional Court (MK).
Chairman of the THN AMIN National Team Ari Yusuf Amir held a meeting with presidential and vice-presidential candidates Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar at the AMIN National Team Winning Headquarters.
After that, Ari went straight to the Constitutional Court building to complete the application file. Meanwhile, several other THN members have arrived at the Constitutional Court building to process the request for dispute over the election results (PHPU).
"This morning at 1 o'clock online we have entered the registration and now our team is in the Constitutional Court again in the administrative process for the completeness of the files. I will be present (to the Constitutional Court) with several friends to officially sign the application," said Ari at the AMIN National Team Winning Headquarters, Jalan Diponegoro, Central Jakarta, Thursday, March 21.
Ari emphasized that his party had prepared all needs related to the 2024 presidential election dispute since a month ago. Previously, the team had also gathered many legal experts who helped prepare a study to finalize the lawsuit to the Constitutional Court.
Thus, Ari claimed that the Anies-Muhaimin camp had evidence and could present a strong witness and convince the judge of the Constitutional Court or his lawsuit.
"We have completed this application at the Constitutional Court with quite convincing evidence. The witnesses we have prepared. God willing, it will be quite convincing," he said.
It is known that the KPU has officially determined the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair number 2, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka, as the winner of the 2024 General Election with 96,214,691 votes or 58.58 percent of all national valid votes.
Then, presidential and vice presidential candidates number 2 Anies Baswesan-Muhaimin Iskandar received 40,971,906 votes or 24.95 percent. Meanwhile, presidential and vice presidential candidates number 3 Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD received 27,040,878 votes or 16.47 percent. The total valid votes for the 2024 Presidential Election are 164,227,475 votes.
The Prabowo-Gibran pair's votes were superior in 66 out of 128 overseas election committee offices (PPLN). In addition, Prabowo-Gibran is also superior in 36 provinces, except for Aceh and West Sumatra which were won by candidate pair number 1 Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar.
Responding to this, Anies emphasized that he only responded by bringing the results of the presidential election votes to be disputed with the Constitutional Court.
"We support the steps of the legal team, and let all the findings presented later become an official historical record on the minutes of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Indonesia," said Anies on Wednesday, March 20 evening.

Anies in his statement also touched on the legitimacy of the 2024 presidential election process and results. Therefore, it is important to ensure the evidence that is owned for processing at the Constitutional Court in the 2024 presidential election PHPU trial.
"The steps we are taking are not getting angry and digitizing the public, but our step is to gather all the evidence to be brought to justice. We want this country to continue to build political maturity, not back and forth near the pre-reformation period," he explained.
