KPK Is Looking For Other Allegations Of Corruption In Bandung City Apart From Procurement Of CCTV
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) continues to develop allegations of corruption in the Bandung City Government (Pemkot). Investigations are not only carried out related to the procurement of CCTV for the Bandung Smart City program.
"So we continue to develop other possible corruption allegations at this time. We are still developing them," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters quoted on Thursday, March 21.
One way is to summon a number of witnesses, including four members of the Bandung City DPRD who are reportedly suspects in the Bandung City Secretary Ema Sumarna on Monday, March 18. Kan (they, ed) confirmed related to projects that they allegedly participated (in, ed) in the processes, "said Ali.
In addition, the anti-corruption commission is also waiting for reports from the public. Ali said that every complaint that comes in will certainly be developed as long as there is initial information.
"When we find someone who can be legally held accountable based on the adequacy of evidence, yes, the KPK has named him a suspect," he said.
Previously reported, the KPK confirmed that it was developing a corruption case in the procurement of CCTV related to the Bandung Smart City program. Ema Sumarna was examined as a witness on Thursday, March 14.
"Please pray, please pray," he told reporters after undergoing the examination.

Meanwhile, Ema's attorney, Rizky Rizganta, confirmed that his client had been named a suspect. The legal status notification has been received from the KPK on March 5 which coincided with a summons.
As for this case, the KPK has arrested the Mayor of Yana Mulyana who has been removed. He is currently serving four years in prison in Sukamiskin Prison, Bandung, West Java.
