Vietnam Players Boast Of Taklukan Indonesian National Team: Presenting Philippe Troussier's Birthday Gift
JAKARTA - Vietnam's national team midfielder, Nguyen Hoang Duc, boasted that he would beat the Indonesian national team at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Jakarta, on March 21, 2024. He and his team wanted to give a sweet gift on the coach's birthday, Philippe Troussier.
The Indonesian national team will host Vietnam in the second round of the 2026 Asian Zone World Cup Qualifiers. The agenda turned out to coincide with the Vietnam coach's birthday.
Therefore, Hoang Duc stated that he would use the Indonesian national team's home as a stage for birthday celebrations with his team's victory.
The player expressed his boast of partying at home because he felt his team had understood the movement of the Indonesian national team.
