Jaksa Cecar Ayah Gembong Fredy Pratama Regarding Assets Including Hotel Armani Kalteng

The team of public prosecutors (JPU) at the trial at the Banjarmasin District Court, questioned the defendant Lian Silas, who is the father of international drug kingpin Fredy Pratama, about the flow of funds from the child being used to buy a number of assets and run a business.

"The ownership of a number of assets and the flow of funds were asked, including the origin of the ownership of the Armani Hotel in Muara Teweh, Central Kalimantan, which was acknowledged by the defendant, was built by Fredy Pratama," said Head of Pidum Kejari Banjarmasin Habibi when met after the trial in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, March 19.

While sitting before a panel of judges chaired by Jamser Simanjuntak, the defendant Lian Silas admitted that the land from the Armani Hotel building was purchased in 2014 on behalf of his son Dody Wongso.

He even supervised the construction until it was completed and around 2019 it was included in the management of the management of the five-star hotel.

Lian Silas also said that controlling a number of accounts was used for business purposes, including receiving a flow of funds from Fredy Pratama.

Even when the Public Prosecutor asked about a number of billions of rupiah in funds originating from a number of names such as Fahrul Razi, Yusa, Frans Wijaya and so on, which allegedly belonged to Fredy Pratama in the drug business, the defendant did not deny it.

It is known that the defendant Lian Silas was charged with money laundering (TPPU) for the results of the drug business run by her son, Fredy Pratama.

The existence of Fredy Pratama is currently still a mystery and efforts are continuing to be made to be arrested by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police in collaboration with Interpol because his whereabouts are said to have moved from one country to another.
