Neta Collaborates With PT Governance Green Energy Solutions Indonesia, Increases Local Content
After announcing local assembly for electric cars in May 2024, PT NETA Auto Indonesia (NETA) has now announced its strategic steps to collaborate with PT Govern Green Energy Solutions Indonesia.
The purpose of cooperating with the company above is to provide the Neta electric car battery, and the signing of the MoU agreement which will be held at PT Handal Indonesia Motor, Bekasi, West Java.
This partnership also strengthens Neta's commitment to increasing domestic components (TKDN) for the NETA V model and others in the future.
NETA's commitment is not only limited to presenting electric cars with advanced technology in the Indonesian market, but also to an active contribution in supporting the government's efforts to build an overall electric vehicle ecosystem. Therefore, we are not only focusing on local assembly, but also trying to improve the development of local components to reach a minimum standard of 40 percent," said Commissioner of PT NETA Auto Manufacturing Indonesia Mr. Liu Lei, in his official statement, Tuesday, March 19.
As is known, PT Govern Green Energy Solutions Indonesia is a global energy company that has been investing in Indonesia since 2022, focusing on making electric vehicle batteries. Later, PT Gotion will become a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery provider for the needs of NETA electric cars.

The NETA and Gotion partnership is expected not only to make a significant contribution to the supply of batteries locally, but also to strengthen the domestic supply chain, as well as increase efficiency and sustainability in the national automotive industry.
