Erick Thohir Wants To Merge Seven SOEs Into 3 Companies, Here's The List
JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir opened up about the plan to merge seven state-owned companies into three companies.
Erick said the consolidation or consolidation was already in process.
"Today's work we have consolidated in the process stage of combining seven works into three work companies," Erick said at a working meeting of Commission VI DPR RI at the DPR Building, Jakarta, Tuesday, March 19.
Furthermore, Erick said that this merger was carried out to nourish the performance of BUMN-BUMN works.
"This is what we are doing, actually consolidation and restructuring," he said.
Erick explained that Waskita Karya will be merged into Hutama Karya. Then, Nindya Karya and Brantas Abipraya will be merged into Adhi Karya. Then, Wijaya Karya or WIKA will be merged into PT PP.
"Brantas, Adhi, and Nindya Karya. Then HK with Waskita, and also PP with WIKA," he said.
Project Classification
Erick said the merger would be accompanied by the classification of the projects that the three work companies would work on.
Later, he said, HK and Waskita would only focus on working on toll road, non-toll road, instituteal building, and commercial housing projects.

Then, WIKA and PT PP will no longer work on toll roads. Instead, focus on port projects, airports, and also housing or housing, as well as Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC).
"Then also the merger of Adhi Karya, Nindya Karya, they will focus on water, rail, and also of course some more contexts. This is what we are doing, actually consolidation and restructuring," he said.
