Manchaster United's Defeat To Heroes Over Liverpool In The FA Cup

Amad Diallo became the hero of Manchester United's victory over Liverpool in the 2023/2024 FA Cup quarter-finals.

He scored the Red Devils' fourth goal at the end of the extra half. The goal gave United a 4-3 win over the Reds while ensuring a move to the FA Cup semifinals.

However, the winning goal was closed by Diallo's celebration. The goal celebration by releasing the jersey immediately resulted in a second yellow card, aka a red card.

The ivory beach player was sent off after scoring a goal to ensure he missed one game.

After receiving a red card, Diallo did not act and went straight to the dressing room.

Apparently, he admitted that the alpa at that time had excessive celebrations. In fact, he had already received a yellow card before.

"I forgot the first yellow card. So, I was very disappointed with the red card."

"However, the most important thing for me is to win and do it against a big team like Liverpool is a dream. This is a very, very big moment for me," said Diallo.

Luckily, Diallo was able to play in the FA Cup semifinal against Coventry City on April 20, 2024 at Wembley Stadium.

He will face an accumulation sentence in the 2023/2024 Premier League. He certainly missed Manchester United's match against Brentford on Saturday, March 30, 2024.
