KPU Sahkan Kemenangan Perolehan Suara Prabowo-Gibran Di Papua Barat Daya

The General Election Commission (KPU) has approved the vote acquisition of presidential and vice presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka ahead in Southwest Papua based on the plenary meeting of the recapitulation of the results of the 2024 General Election's national vote.

KPU chairman Hasyim Asy'ari said the number of ballots used for the presidential and vice president elections was suitable for the number of voters who attended the polling stations (TPS) and the number of valid and invalid votes, which was 366,309 shares.

"In Southwest Papua, can we legalize it? Bismillah is legal," said Hasyim during the plenary meeting as reported by ANTARA, Monday, March 18.

Chairman of the KPU of Southwest Papua Province Andarias Daniel Kambu revealed that the Anies-Muhaimin pair collected 48,405 votes, the Prabowo-Gibran pair had 209,403 votes, and the Ganjar-Mahfud pair 99,899 votes.

He explained that the number of voters registered on the final voter list (DPT) for the 2024 General Election in Southwest Papua Province was 440,826 people. Of these, 350,590 voters exercised their voting rights.

There were 6,633 people who exercised their voting rights from the additional voter list (DPTb), and there were 9,086 people who exercised their voting rights from the special voter list (DPK).

"The number of users of the right to vote, male 184,673 people, female 181,636 people, total 366,309 people," said Andarias.
