The Demonstrators Disbanded, Two Sections Of Imam Bonjol Street In Front Of The Indonesian KPU Office Were Still Closed By The Concrete Fence

JAKARTA Until tonight, Monday, March 18 at 21.00 WIB, two sections of Jalan Imam Bonjol, Menteng, Central Jakarta, are still permanently closed. Officers have not opened the route in general after the demonstration led by former Danjen Kopassus Soenarko in front of the KPU RI office.

From VOI's observation at the location, the two sections of Jalan Imam Bonjol, which were previously filled with the mass of Jokowi's actions, looked deserted. The area in front of the office of the General Election Commission (KPU) of the Republic of Indonesia has been abandoned by a number of mass actions.

At around 21.00 WIB, the front section of the KPU office was also not seen by the police guarding the location. It's just that many four-wheeled vehicles with personal plates park on both roads of Imam Bonjol, in front of the Indonesian KPU office.

Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro said the closure of traffic flow around the Indonesian KPU was situational.

"Traffic flow engineering is enforced to see developments in the dynamics of the situation on the ground," he said.

The police chief emphasized to all personnel involved in security to always act persuasively, not provoked, prioritizing negotiations, services and humaneism.

"ReSPECT and respect other road users who will pass," he said.
