Facelift Version Of Hyundai Santa Cruz Will Be Present, Here Are The Estimated Changes

JAKARTA - This year, Hyundai will continue to develop a number of models including the facelift version of Santa Cruz. Reportedly this dual cabin pickup car received several changes.

Launching The Korean Car Blog, Monday, March 18, this South Korean manufacturer wants to present this model in a more rigid and conventional style, so the changes presented will look different than before.

Hyundai is considered to maintain its distinctive grip connected to LED but introduces a modified section of the spotlight. These changes include a new design and the placement of LED elements from grILLs tapered to square designs.

This change will emphasize the latest vertical-oriented lighting making the view of the grip wider and stronger. In addition, it is estimated that the water intake and bottom spoilers will also get a change.

Furthermore, the manufacturer will present the latest Santa Cruz with a different rim design with a sturdy look following the overall design language of its exterior.

Meanwhile, reported by Carscoops, the interior may also experience a reshuffle with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and the same size of the infotainment system. The system supports a wireless software update and BlueLink service from Hyundai.

Although the powertrain specifications have not been disclosed, the latest Hyundai Santa Cruz is expected to offer a hybrid option that combines 1.6 liters of T-GDi engines with electric motors and batteries with output power reaching 226 dk and 350 Nm torque.

In addition, the manufacturer also maintains the option of an existing pure gasoline machine such as 2.5 liters of 4-cylinder alert with eight automatic accelerations resulting in a 191 dk peak power and 2.5 liters of turbo 4-cylinder with 281 dk power coupled to eight gigboks dual-clutch acceleration.

This car will be a direct competitor to Ford Maverick by offering trim SEL, CELL Activity Package, Night, XRT, and Limited. Hyundai will reveal it in the coming months.
