KPU RI Sahkan Recapitulasi Suara Nasional Dari 32 Provinsi, Hanya 6 Provinsi Lagi

The General Election Commission (KPU) of the Republic of Indonesia has completed the recapitulation of national votes in 32 of 38 provinces of Indonesia on the 18th day of the plenary meeting to recapitulate the results of the national level 2024 election vote acquisition tally at the Indonesian KPU Office, Jakarta, Saturday, March 16.

Member of the Indonesian KPU, August Mellaz, announced that only Central Sulawesi Province still has to take part in the recapitulation of national level vote count today.

"With today's addition, March 16, 2024, for Central Sulawesi Province, it means that 32 (which have been recapitulated)," he said at the Indonesian KPU Office, Jakarta, Saturday.

Based on the national recapitulation from Saturday 9 March to Saturday, the Indonesian KPU has approved the vote acquisition for the presidential election at 32 provinces at the national level, including the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Gorontalo, Central Kalimantan, Bali, to Bengkulu.

However, there are still six provinces that must be recapitulated again, namely West Java, Maluku, Papua, Papua Mountains, Central Papua, and Southwest Papua.

Of the total provinces that have been recapitulated, candidate pair number 2, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka, is superior in 30 provinces, while the other two provinces are led by pair number 1, Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar.

The 2024 election includes the presidential and vice presidential elections, members of the DPR RI, members of the DPD RI, members of the provincial DPRD, and members of the district/city DPRD with a national voter list (DPT) of 204,807,222 voters.

For the presidential and vice presidential elections, there are three competing pairs of candidates, namely Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud number 3.

In the legislative elections, there were 18 national political parties and six local political parties as participants, in accordance with KPU Regulation Number 3 of 2022, the recapitulation of the national votes for the 2024 General Election is scheduled to take place from February 15 to March 20, 2024.
