Is It True That LCGC's Legs Are Weaker Than Other Vehicles? This Is The Answer

JAKARTA - The "legs" on the car refer to parts related to the suspension and wheel system. This includes components such as per, per spring, and the suspension tuning system. Foot-leg is responsible for absorbing shocks from the road and maintaining the stability and comfort of the vehicle while moving. In addition, the foot-leg system also affects the handling of the car and the distribution of loads when turning or maneuvering.

The Head of the Jayanti Workshop Mechanics, Antasari Muhidin Branch, assessed that the resistance of Low Cost Green Car (LCGC) legs is weaker when compared to other types of vehicles.

In a press statement on Saturday, quoted from ANTARA, Saturday, March 16, Muhidin said that LCGC's leg resistance is weaker because the structure and components are lighter than other types of vehicles.

"Instead of MPV, SUVs, sedans, and hatchbacks, LCGC-type cars have a higher risk of damage to the suspension system," he said.

"The risk of damage will become even higher when the car is used to transport excess loads or often cross damaged roads," he added.

Muhidin said that the shockbreaker for vehicles played a role in providing comfort to motorists and passengers.

"When this component starts to weaken or leak, the effect will spread to other components such as shock support and bushing arm. These three components are interconnected, so damage to one part can quickly spread to other parts of the suspension system," he explained.

"In overcoming the problem of car legs, Workshop Jayanti, for example, offers reconditioned packages that include repairing shockbreakers, both front and rear," he said in a promotion.

According to him, the reconditioning package offers increased comfort and security in driving without having to pay component replacement costs.
