Bank Mandiri Collaborates With APERSI To Facilitate Access To Home Ownership
JAKARTA - PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) is collaborating with the All-Indonesian Housing and Settlement Development Association (APERSI) in facilitating access to home ownership.
Meanwhile, this collaboration was demonstrated by the signing of a collaboration carried out by Bank Mandiri Network & Retail Banking Director Aquarius Rudianto and APERSI General Chair Junaidi Abdillah, Friday, March 15, 2024, this collaboration was also a form of Bank Mandiri's commitment to expanding residential ownership for the community.
Bank Mandiri Network & Retail Banking Director Aquarius Rudianto said this collaboration was Bank Mandiri's effort to meet all stakeholder needs, including in this regard related to the construction of property and housing credit financing facilities.
Aquarius explained, by combining Bank Mandiri and APERSI expertise, this collaboration is designed to create innovative and sustainable solutions for the community.
"This is our significant effort to provide innovative solutions for the community by maximizing the existing potential and opportunities," Aquarius said in his statement, Friday, March 15, 2024.
According to Aquarius APERSI, it is one of the largest developer associations with a total of more than 3,500 developers and 27 DPD spread throughout Indonesia that consistently contribute positively to property development in the country.
This can be seen from the contribution of the provision and distribution of subsidized housing through APERSI which reached 66 thousand units in 2023.
This consistency is in line with Bank Mandiri as one of the state-owned companies, which from the start was committed to helping meet community housing needs through the distribution of People's Ownership Loans (KPR), both subsidies and non-subsidized.
Without exception, the fulfillment of subsidized housing needs for Low-Income Communities (MBR) through the distribution of FLPP mortgages.
Meanwhile, throughout 2023, Bank Mandiri has distributed 3,684 FLPP-themed mortgage units. Through collaboration with APERSI, Bank Mandiri is optimistic that the distribution of FLPP mortgages can continue to be improved to reduce housing backlogs in Indonesia.

In realizing this, the company also uses digital platforms to market mortgages and provide transaction needs solutions for the community through Super Apps Livin' by Mandiri.
"This is of course in accordance with Bank Mandiri's wishes, which aims to be the top of the mind of all banking service solutions in all levels of society. In addition, Bank Mandiri also aims to become urban banking that can serve financial needs and provide integrated business solutions," he said.
As additional information, until the end of February 2024, Bank Mandiri's total mortgage distribution has recorded growth of 35.4 percent year on year (YoY) with maintained credit quality. Through a series of strategies and collaborations, Bank Mandiri is optimistic that growth in 2024 will be able to exceed last year's achievement.
