Minister Of Religion: This Year, Mina Jadid Hajj Pilgrims Are Relocated To Muaishim
JAKARTA - Minister of Religion (Menag) Yaqut Cholil Qoumas confirmed that this year no Indonesian pilgrims will be stationed in Mina Jadid and will be relocated to the Muaishim area.
"The placement of Indonesian pilgrims in Mina for the Hajj season in 1445 Hijri/2024 there is a change in location, namely maktab 1 to 9 with approximately 27,000 pilgrims who have been placed in the Mina Jadid area being relocated to the Muaishim area," said the Minister of Religion, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, March 15.
The Minister of Religion explained the reason for moving from Mina Jadid to Muaishim so that the location of Indonesian pilgrims is not too far away from Jamarat. In addition, to increase the comfort of the congregation in worship.
On the other hand, he said that the preparation of accommodation for pilgrims in Mecca and Medina had been completed. Furthermore, the Ministry of Religion will carry out a placement configuration after the payment process for the congregation is complete.
In addition to congregational accommodation, the Ministry of Religion has also prepared a number of services in Saudi Arabia such as consumption and transportation services.
For consumption services, the congregation plans to get 27 meals while in Medina, 84 meals in Makkah, and 15 meals plus one snack in Masyair.

The government has also completed the Shalawat Bus contract and has compiled bus stops and terminals to facilitate congregational services while in Makkah. Meanwhile, inter-city services are still in the process of being completed.
