The heavy rains that hit the Bogor and Puncak areas during Thursday, March 14 morning to noon caused the water discharge of the Ciliwung river to increase. The Katulampa Dam recorded an altitude of up to standby status 4, with the highest point reaching 90 cm. Katulampa Dam Officer, Andi Sudirman, revealed that the increase in water level in Katulampa Dam was fluctuating because rain in the Puncak area also fluctuated. He reminded Jakarta residents of the potential for flooding this afternoon. throughout the morning until noon, Katulampa Dam remained on alert status four. Andi stated that the height of the dam peaked at 06.00 this morning, reaching 90 cm, with water discharges of about 115,000 liters/second flowing to Jakarta. "We always coordinate with related parties in Jakarta, and we hope residents remain vigilant against this water discharge because it also rains in Jakarta," said Andi. It is estimated that this water discharge will reach the Jakarta area in the afternoon until this evening.
