Production Increases 5 Percent, Surya Biru Murni Acetylene Pockets Several New Tenders

JAKARTA - PT Surya Biru Murni Acetylene Tbk (SBMA) is increasingly optimistic about the progress that has been inscribed by carrying out a new era of business that is undertaken based on innovation and diversification of services as a separate advantage.

Surya Biru Murni Acetylene (SBMA) throughout 2024 has successfully raised its production rate periodically but surely. SBMA will penetrate new and innovative gas products, driven by technological advances and market demand for special gas as well as an integrated Tube Management System to mitigate sales, production and maintenance estimates.

"In total production in February experienced an average increase trend of 5 percent compared to previous months' production," said Rini Dwiyanti, President Director of SBMA in a written statement, Thursday, March 14.

Even Rini explained that in early 2024, the Company had won several new tenders, from the mining and industrial oil and gas industry, such as Pertamina International Refinery, PT Sriwijaya Teknik Utama, PT Triatra Sinergia Pratama, and is currently in the tender process such as PT Sanggar Sarana Baja, PT Thiess Contractors Indonesia.

According to Rini, this trust does not come useless. SBMA's partners see that the company's seriousness in this business is very strong. Every sector that is served strengthens and supports the foundation of the company where SBMA currently has service diversification as an advantage.

SBMA also continues to expand the network by adding a refueling station, which aims to optimize the distribution process. SBMA also has ISO 17025 accreditation for gas laboratories.

"That way we will ensure the highest standards in precision and reliability of testing as a form of sustainable business development and product quality assurance given to customers," said Rini.

One of SBMA's advantages is speed. The company can meet Customer requests for within a city of 1 day, while out of town depending on the distance it travels with a maximum of 3 days.

"In terms of demand, the production produced by the Company during January and February was more to meet Customer requests from types of Mining, Oil and Gas, Construction, Petrokimia and Manufacturing," said Rini.

According to Rini, why the industry in Kalimantan uses SBMA products, because the results of the Company's production are very strategic and in accordance with the needs of the average type of industry in Kalimantan. In closing from his presentation, Rini quoted BPS data where the economy of East Kalimantan Province in 2023 grew by 6.22 percent, higher than the achievement in 2022 which grew by 4.48 percent.

"In terms of production, the highest growth occurred in the Electricity and Gas Procurement Business Field at 16.05 percent. Although, in terms of spending, the highest growth occurred in the Government Consumption Expenditure Component of 36.40 percent," concluded Rini.
