KPK Reveals Suspects In The Corruption Case Of The Sumatra Toll Road More Than 2 People

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said there were more than two suspects in the corruption case in the land acquisition of the Sumatra Toll Road. One of them comes from the internal PT Hutama Karya (Persero).

"Determine several parties as suspects. More than two people from PT HK in question," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Wednesday, March 13.

The party who became the suspect has not been detailed. Ali said, investigators are still focused on finding the completeness of the evidence.

As previously reported, the anti-corruption commission is investigating allegations of corruption related to the Sumatra Toll Road. Currently, they have asked the Directorate General of Immigration of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights to prevent three people from leaving the country.

One of them is the former Director of PT Hutama Karya, Bintang Perbowo based on the information gathered. He was prevented with his employees, M. Rizal Sutjipto and Iskandar Zulkarnaen who are Commissioners of PT Sanitarindo Tangsel Jaya.

In this case, the anti-corruption commission suspects that there has been a state loss of up to tens of billions of rupiah. The amount could continue to grow because the calculation is still ongoing.
