JAKARTA - Bitcoin (BTC) has reached a new all-time high (ATH) above US$70,000 (Rp1.09 billion), where on Tuesday, March 12 in the morning, BTC perched at a price of 72,800 US dollars or Rp1.13 billion.

"Meanwhile, this morning at 08:00 WIB Bitcoin (BTC) was perched at 71,995 US dollars (Rp1.12 billion), still counting up 5.38 percent in the last 24 hours," said National Expert Ajaib Kripto Panji Yudha in a statement.

Panji said that the increase in Bitcoin prices was driven by investor demand for a new US spot of bitcoin ETF launched this year, and this increase was pushed higher ahead of the Bitcoin busking event in the next few weeks.
