Six Indonesian Representatives Ready For The First Round Of All England 2024
Six Indonesian representatives are ready to compete optimally in the first round of the All England Open 2024 tournament at Utilita Arena, Birmingham, England, Tuesday, starting at 17.00 WIB.
In the first field, the women's singles Gregoria Mariska Tunjung, who was the seventh seed in this tournament, will meet Yeo Jia Min in the round of 32.
Gregoria took the 6-3 lead in his meeting with Yeo. However, at their last meeting at the 2024 India Open, Gregoria lost 23-25, 14-21, to the Singaporean badminton player.

Indonesia has all fielded 11 athletes for the tournament which is included in the calculation of the qualifying points for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Other Indonesian representatives are the men's singles Jonatan Christie and Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo. Then, three men's doubles, namely the All England 2023 champion Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto, the 2019 All England champion Hendra Setiawan/Mohammad Ahsan, and Indonesia Masters champion Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin.
