Karaoke And Massage Parlors In Bogor Are Prohibited From Operating During Ramadan
Bogor City Government, West Java, appealed to all nightclubs in its area not to operate during the month of Ramadan 1445 Hijri, as stated by the Mayor of Bogor, Bima A Sugiarto in Bogor, Tuesday, to maintain conduciveness and respect the holy month of Ramadan.
The nightclubs in question are karaoke places, singing arenas or the like, massage parlors and the like.
"Like every year's tradition, we ask everyone to respect it. All entertainment venues are completely closed. No one should be naughty," Bima said, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, March 12.
He said the Bogor City Government through the Satpol PP, sub-district head, and village heads in the region would monitor and supervise nightclubs, as well as be assisted by elements of the TNI-Polri.
"Because we will continue to patrol, the Head of Satpol PP and its members, the TNI-Polri elements will continue to monitor it. Then friends in the area, the village head will monitor it," he explained.
As in previous years, he said, sahur activities on the road and sarong war games were also prohibited.
"If you go together, go ahead. But you don't have to go side by side, you don't have to procession. We will definitely arrange it," he said.
In addition, he also asked restaurants that remain open during Ramadan to respect Muslims who are fasting.

"We ask those who will remain open like restaurants and others to really respect. We technically leave it, but respect those who fast," he said.

Responding to this, the chairman of the Bogor DPRD, Atang Trisnanto, fully handed over security during the month of Ramadan to the Bogor City Government and the TNI-Polri.
