Mercedes Releases E 53 Hybrid 4 Matic+, PHEV Technology Efficiency And High Performance Becomes One
JAKARTA - Recently, Mercedes-Benz released its newest model, AMG E 53 Hybrid 4 Matic+ in the saloon and estate variants. The manufacturer says that this vehicle offers the performance and efficiency of fuel from the plug-in hybrid (PHEV) system.
"This vehicle offers a typical AMG driving pleasure with excellent response, extraordinary driving dynamics, and sporty design," said Michael Schiebe, CEO of Mercedes-AMG, on the company website, Monday, March 11.
Based on the E-Class model, the car gets a number of sports touches from AMG with a wider front fender and has an outer air entry channel that helps the aerodynamic side.
Meanwhile, the side has a special side skirt that has visuals connecting the two rim arches. Then, the back lighting carries a horizontally connected flat LED light with clear and luxurious graphics.
The manufacturer also did not forget to give a special "hybrid" badge on the front and rear. Then, this model comes with 19-inch alloy rims as the standard. However, customers can choose the 20-inch and 21-inch rim options.
Just like other models, E 53 Hybrid 4 Matic+ gets a luxurious touch with a combination of sporty with a glowing spectrum of open porous ash wood. Then, MBUX Superscreen is also presented with a passenger monitor as an option.
The multimedia MBUX system offers AMG-specific displays and features as well as exclusive additional AMG Performance and AMG TRACK PACE menu content as optional, as well as added with a hybrid-specific display and function.

Also presented is the AMG Dynamic Select system as a driving mode option according to the driver's wishes, consisting of Comfort, Sport, Sport+, Smoothness, and Individual. Then, the hybrid driving feature is also presented consisting of Electric and Battery Hold.
For the kitchen runway, this car is equipped with a 3.0 liter 6-cylinder engine combined with an electric motor, resulting in a combined power of 585 dk and a 750 Nm torque in collaboration with the AMG Speedshift TCT 9G transmission. Thus, this car can run from 0 to 100 km/hour in 3.8 seconds and produce a peak speed of 280 km/hour.
Because it uses the PHEV system, this car has a 28.6 kWh battery pack that can make AMG E 53 Hybrid 4 Matic+ run with pure electric power such as EVs as far as 100 km.
