Prabowo Gibran Wins In South Kalimantan With 58 Percent Of Votes

JAKARTA - The pair of presidential and vice presidential candidates number 02 Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka will certainly win in South Kalimantan (Kalsel) in the 2024 election with 1,407,684 votes.

"Prabowo-Gibran is 58 percent superior to the other two presidential candidate pairs," said South Kalimantan KPU chairman Andi Tenri Sompa in Banjarmasin, quoted from Antara, Monday, March 11.

Meanwhile, second place with the most votes for candidate pair 01 Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar with 849,948 votes or 35 percent.

Meanwhile, candidate pair 03 Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud MD only received 159,950 votes or 7 percent.

The number of valid votes was 2,417,582 votes and the number of invalid votes was 118,901 votes, so that the total number of voting rights owners who exercised their voting rights on February 14, 2024 was 2,536,483 votes.

It is known that the South Kalimantan KPU recorded a final voter list (DPT) of 3,025,220 people entitled to exercise their voting rights at 13,584 at polling stations throughout South Kalimantan spread across two cities and 11 districts in 156 sub-districts and 2,016 sub-districts or villages.

The South Kalimantan KPU is scheduled to attend an open plenary meeting at the national level at the Indonesian KPU on March 12, 2024.

In addition to the results of the presidential election, the South Kalimantan KPU has also determined the results of the election votes for both the provincial DPRD, the DPR RI and the DPD RI.
