KPU Recapitulation: Prabowo-Gibran Wins In West Kalimantan, Anies-Cak Imin Follows
The General Election Commission (KPU) has approved the presidential candidate pair and vice presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka to excel in West Kalimantan Province.This is based on the plenary meeting of the recapitulation of the results of the national level vote acquisition at the KPU RI Building, Jakarta, which was held today.Based on the presentation of the KPU for West Kalimantan Province, the Prabowo-Gibran pair won with 1,964,183 votes, then the Anies-Muhaimin pair received 718,641 votes, and the Ganjar-Mahfud pair received 534,450 votes."We can confirm the results of the vote count, the recapitulation carried out by the West Kalimantan Provincial KPU for the Presidential and Vice Presidential Elections. Bismillah is valid," said Chairman of the Indonesian KPU Hasyim Asy'ari at a plenary meeting quoted from Antara, Sunday, March 10.The approval was made after considering the suitability of the user's data on the right to vote, the use of ballots, and the number of valid and invalid votes, which amounted to 3,277,815."It's been done," he said.The final voter list in West Kalimantan is 3,958,561 people, consisting of 2,017,565 men, and 1,940,996 women.The plenary meeting for the recapitulation for West Kalimantan Province only started at around 20.40 WIB, because it was waiting for the presence of the West Kalimantan Provincial KPU team. Previously, the Indonesian KPU had also ratified the recapitulation from the Provinces of Bali and Bangka Belitung Province on Sunday.The 2024 election includes the presidential and vice presidential elections, members of the DPR RI, members of the DPD RI, members of the provincial DPRD, and members of the district/city DPRD with a national voter list (DPT) of 204,807,222 voters.For the presidential and vice presidential elections, three couples, namely Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md number 3.
According to KPU Regulation Number 3 of 2022, the recapitulation of the 2024 General Election is scheduled to take place from February 15 to March 20, 2024.
