The Head of the Penjaringan Police, Kompol Agus Ady Wijaya, said that his party is currently still examining witnesses and CCTV at the scene.
"It's still being investigated (motives due to online loans)," Agus said in a short message, Sunday, March 10.
Agus said that for the statements of temporary witnesses, the victim died of suicide.
"What is certain is that the motive is suicide. Just an affirmation, one family. I've lived here for 2 years, I haven't lived here for 2 years," he said.
Economic Difficulties
The testimony of Neighbors who did not want to be named said the family was indeed down with their financial condition. They even wanted an online loan (pinjol), but were refused. Because of the debt in other applications that have not been repaid.
"Then he once talked to my wife that he couldn't borrow online anymore. So I thought there was also an online loan, maybe yes, because when Covid was he had my wife's number, buying food, or what eggs, Covid was difficult, right," he said.
