Jasa Marga Records 180,107 Vehicles Leaving Jabotabek On D-3 Nyepi
JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk recorded as many as 180,107 vehicles leaving the Jakarta Bogor area of Tangerang Bekasi (Jabotabek) on D-3 Holy Day Nyepi Saka New Year 1946 or on Friday 8 March.
"This figure is the cumulative number of traffic flows (traffic) from the four Main Toll Gates (GT), namely Cikupa GT (to Merak), Ciawi GT (to Puncak), and Cikampek Utama GT (to Trans Java) and Kalihurip Utama GT (to Bandung). The total volume of traffic leaving the Jabotabek area is up 20.51 percent when compared to normal traffic," said Jasa Marga's Corporate Communication & Community Development Group Head. For traffic distribution leaving Jabotabek from all three directions, the majority were 83,951 vehicles (46.61 percent) heading East (Trans Java and Bandung), 54,138 vehicles (30.06 percent) headed West (Merak), and 42,018 vehicles (23.33 percent) headed South (Puncak).
For the distribution of traffic leaving Jabotabek towards Trans Java via GT Cikampek Utama Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, with a total of 39,932 vehicles, an increase of 39.24 percent from normal traffic.
Traffic leaving Jabotabek heading towards Bandung via GT Kalihurip Utama Cipularang Toll Road, with a total of 44,019 vehicles, an increase of 23.64 percent from normal traffic.
The total traffic leaving Jabotabek towards Trans Java and Bandung through the two GTs was 83,951 vehicles, an increase of 30.60 percent from normal traffic.
Meanwhile, traffic leaving Jabotabek towards Merak via the Cikupa GT Tangerang-Merak Toll Road was 54,138 vehicles, an increase of 12.85 percent from normal traffic.

Meanwhile, the number of vehicles leaving Jabotabek heading towards Puncak via GT Ciawi Jagorawi Toll Road was 42,018 vehicles, an increase of 12.94 percent from normal traffic.
Jasa Marga predicts that as many as 730,727 vehicles will leave the Jabotabek area during the Nyepi Day 2024 holiday period or precisely on D-3 (Friday, March 8, 2024) to D+1 (Tuesday, March 12, 2024).
