Pekalongan City Government Helps 11 Thousand KPM Receive PKH Social Assistance
PEKALONGAN - Pemerintah Kota Pekalongan, Jawa Tengah, mencatat sekitar 11,000 keluarga beneficiaries (KPM) telah mendapatkan bantuan sosial program keluarga Harapan (PKH) pada 2024.
Head of the Pekalongan City Social, Population Control and Family Planning Service (Dinsos-P2KB) Yos Rosidi in Pekalongan, Saturday, said that the distribution of social assistance was carried out by the Post Office and bank hebara in the form of cash through accounts.
"We have first implemented the distribution of social assistance programs for the family of hope in February 2024," he said.
He who was accompanied by the Head of Social Protection and Security Empowerment Division, Trieska Herawan, said that the PKH social assistance targets four components, namely pregnant women or Nifas, early childhood and school, the elderly, and people with severe and permanent disabilities.
For one family, he said, there are those who get one or two components but a maximum of four components.

He asked people in need and wanted to propose beneficiary families to go directly to the Social Service-P2KB or service system facilitators and integrated referrals (SLRT) by bringing photocopies of their ID cards, family cards, and poor certificates.
"We hope that the social assistance can be utilized as well as possible according to its designation or components. For example, to support the needs of schools, pregnant women, and toddlers are used to meet their nutritional needs so that the economic community increases, needs are sufficient, and prosperous," he said.
