Biden Calls Hard Work Uniting NATO To Support Ukraine

JAKARTA - United States (US) President Joe Biden said he would work desperately to unite the NATO alliance to support Ukraine in its conflict with Russia. This he said during his campaign speech in Philadelphia.

"I have worked desperately to unite Europe, NATO, and ensure Ukraine is not destroyed by this Russian dictator," Biden said, quoting Antara.

On Thursday (7/3), Biden delivered his annual state speech to US lawmakers, in which he promised not to abandon his support for Ukraine.

Biden also said he was determined to prevent US troops from operating in Ukrainian territory.

In September 2023, Biden alluded to Russian President Vladimir Putin by calling him a 'dictator'.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov while commenting on Biden's remarks at the time stated that Putin would never commit personal insults.
