Methosa Successfully Holds First Concert With New Vocalist Rina Nose
JAKARTA - Rina Nose is the difference between Methosa's appearance, which just held her first mini concert at M Bloc, South Jakarta on Friday, March 8 evening.
Unlike usual when we see Rina Nose performing pop songs or dangdut, the singer from Bandung is able to balance the feasibility of four other personnel, Mansen Munthe (main vocals), Kelana Halim (bass), Agung (synthesizer), and Dami (guitar).
Rina and Mansen are on the front lines who have successfully isolated the audience with songs that are full of social criticism.
Methosa performed the best songs from their latest album, Kausa Nusantara, which was introduced to the public through the Pro-M music label on February 9.
A total of seven songs were performed by Methosa tonight, namely Nasi Goreng, Ankara, Igual, Hide, Conservation, Getih, and Mati Logic.
Regarding the song Nasi Goreng which became a mainstay, Mansen said the song was made by highlighting the reality of the Indonesian people, where the case of hunger still exists.

"This fried rice is indeed a unique song. This song is talking about hunger," said Mansen during a press conference before the concert.
"In principle, in the past it was fried rice, the remaining rice last night was cooked again the next morning so it wouldn't be wasteful. This is talking about simplicity," he continued.
The simplicity is the people, which is always lied to by the government.
Not only Nasi Goreng, a total of eleven songs on the album Kausa Nusantara are indeed songs that raise social issues as inspiration for writing them.
Tonight's concert is a sign for Methosa and Rina Nose in the world of Indonesian music. After a long time on an independent path, Methosa will continue her criticisms with major labels that are believed to help their voices be heard louder.
"Hopefully with our presence in the major label, the voices of public unrest can be heard harder," concluded Mansen Munthe.
