Bappenas: Development During 2025-2029 Becomes An Opportunity To Realize Indonesia Gold 2045

JAKARTA - Minister of National Development Planning (PPN)/Head of the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) Suharso Monoarfa said that the various development programs carried out during 2025-2029 will be an opportunity for the government to realize the ideals of Indonesia Emas 2045.

"The stages of development in 2025-2029 are very strategic to lay the foundations of transformation and even become the basis for growth levels at the next stage, (at the same time) to become a window opportunity (the opportunity) for all of us to achieve the ideals of Indonesia Emas," said Suharso Monoarfa in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Friday, March 8.

According to him, in realizing the vision of Indonesia Gold 2045 as a sovereign, advanced, and sustainable country, strong transformation is needed.

Bappenas also started the preparation of the 2025 Government Work Plan (RKP) with the theme Inclusive and Sustainable Economic Growth Acceleration with a focus on strengthening the foundations of transformation.

"The first mid-term development stage in achieving the goal of the vision of Indonesia Gold 2045 is focused on strengthening the foundation of transformation," he said.

Suharso said that the 2025 RKP was prepared to be a reference in planning, budgeting, and implementing development, both by the central and regional governments.

The central government uses the 2025 RKP as a reference for the preparation of the Ministry/Institution's Work Plan, which will then be outlined in the Draft Law on the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (RUU APBN).

For local governments, the 2025 RKP is used as a reference for drafting the Work Plan of the Regional Government (RKPD).

Meanwhile, State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) and the private sector as well as non-state actors can use the RKP as a reference for participating and collaborating in supporting national development achievements.

He also said that the priority policy direction in the 2025 RKP is to improve the quality of education and health as well as strengthen the character and identity of the nation, improve connectivity infrastructure, develop energy transitions, accelerate IKN infrastructure, reform waste management, and develop an inclusive and sustainable economy.

Secretary of the Ministry of National Development Planning/President Secretary of Bappenas Teni Widuriyanti hopes that the preparation of the 2025 RKP can contain the initial foundation to realize the 2025-2045 National Long-Term Development Plan (RPJPN) target.

"Kick off the preparation of the 2025 RKP is expected to serve as a reminder for us so that the preparation of development priorities in 2025 can focus on achieving the theme and target of RKP development," he said.
