Government Explores Market Interests In Housing Business Activities At IKN
JAKARTA - The government is exploring market interest related to the government's cooperation project with business entities (KPBU) in the housing sector of the State Capital (IKN) in Jakarta, Thursday, March 7.
"This activity is not only a significant step in meeting housing needs, but also opens opportunities for business actors, investors, and financial institutions/creditors to participate in the development of the IKN KPBU project in the housing sector," said Deputy for Funding and Investment of the IKN Authority Agung Wicaksono in his statement, quoted from Antara.
This activity is part of the preparation stage of the KPBU IKN project which is carried out in accordance with the provisions in the Regulation of the Minister of VAT 6/2022. The main objective of this activity, he said, is to convey an overview of the KPBU IKN project in the housing sector to business actors, investors, and financial institutions/creditors.
In addition, this activity also aims to obtain input and responses from stakeholders on project implementation as well as explore interest from business actors, investors, and financial/creditor institutions in projects. In an effort to fulfill housing/housing needs, the government through OIKN uses the KPBU IKN scheme in accordance with Government Regulation No. 17/2022 concerning Budget Funding and Management in the Summary of Preparation, Development, and Transfer of the State Capital City as well as the Implementation of State Capital Special Regional Governments. A number of investors/business entities have also submitted a statement letter (letter of intent) to the IKN Authority to initiate housing/hunian development for state civil servants (ASN), TNI, and Polri. This project uses the KPBU IKN scheme on initiatives of business entities (unsolicited).
