Harapan Bunda Ciracas Hospital Burns, Hundreds Of Visitors Evacuated
JAKARTA - Harapan Bunda Hospital on Jalan Raya Jakarta Bogor, KM 22, RT 08/02, Rambutan Village, Ciracas District, East Jakarta, was hit by a fire on Thursday, March 7, evening. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
Until now, the flames are still burning and are being handled by the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. firefighters.
"The object caught fire in the server room on the 4th floor. The area of the burning area was 24 square meters," said Head of East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Gatot Sulaeman when confirmed, Thursday, March 7.
As many as 100 people who were in the hospital were rescued by firefighters.
"The blackout process is still being carried out," he said.

A total of 11 fire engines with 55 firefighters are still struggling to extinguish the fire.
The first fire incident was discovered by hospital employees who were heading to the 4th floor. Witnesses saw a puff of smoke in the room.
"The employee then carried out the initial blackout process with APAR," he said.
As a result of the fire incident, the loss was estimated at IDR 3.2 billion. Until now, officers are still localizing the fire.
