Stranas PK Launches E-Audit System To Monitor E-Catalog Odd Transactions

JAKARTA - The National Stranas for Corruption Prevention (Stranas PK) launched an e-audit to monitor transactions in e-catalog. Various irregularities can be monitored and followed up.

PK Stranas Implementing Coordinator Pahala Nainggolan said odd transactions in e-catalog were often not monitored. As a result, odd transactions reached trillions of rupiah.

"There are 65,947 packages (procurement, ed) with a nominal value of IDR 2.5 trillion transacted in less than 24 hours," said Pahala at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Wednesday, March 6.

This transaction quickly caught Stranas PK's attention. Because many commitment-making officials (PPK) choose to buy goods that have just been put into e-catalog.

"So, it airs directly buying, going down, missing, and those are strange services," he said.

Another oddity is the timing of the transaction. Many PPK make purchases at midnight with a very fast deadline.

"So, in 16 minutes the purchase is complete," said Pahala.

Pahala said the speed of project work in the country was needed. However, everything must be in accordance with existing regulations.

"It's amazing if this continues to progress our country. It's not long, right, 16 minutes, maybe a year maybe we just finished it all procurement," he said.

Pahala hopes that this new system will help the government's internal supervisory apparatus (APIP) detect PPKs that carry out odd transactions. Thus, warnings can be given, including those who buy goods at one shop repeatedly.

Even so, Pahala emphasized that the supervision and warning in this new system does not mean a prohibition. "Give someone else time to negotiate too. Maybe he's the only one who can do it in this country," he concluded.
