Meanwhile, Jogja Corruption Watch (JCW) researcher Baharuddin Kamba asked the DIY High Prosecutor's Office to appeal the verdict.
"JCW asks the JPU of the DIY Prosecutor's Office to appeal that the minimum sentence is almost the same as the demands of the public prosecutor, which is 8 years in prison," said Kamba.
According to Kamba, the prosecutor needed to make an appeal considering that Krido Suprayitno's position at that time served as Head of Dispertaru DIY.
"In fact, long before the defendant Krido Suprayitno served as the Head of the DIY Dispertaru, he knew and actively communicated with the President Director of PTDeztama Putri Santosa, namely Robibson Saalino," he said.
